Large steppingstones flow like a stream around this verticle accent plant leading the eye to the colorful stone terraces beyond. Yellow flowering Kniphofia or red hot poker frames the view as a vertical accent. The large boulder, which was deposited on this glacial moraine by a long since retreated Ice field, provides a horizontal counter point. The grassy lawn becomes Alpine Tundra. |
